Thror's map of the Lonely Mountain was given to Gandalf to pass to his son Thorin, helping them regain the treasure stolen from them by Smaug the dragon.
 
Each map is individually hand drawn in traditional ink dip pens on hand made paper. The moon runes are inked in with a silver ink that is not always easy to see. Hold it up to the light just right and they become very visible! Once the maps are drawn, they are antiqued for an old and worn appearance. They are available with or without the folding done.
